National Communications for Development ("C4D") Campaign

In 2010, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare formally launched the National IYCF Communication Framework and Plan and a national campaign based on the plan to help mothers and families learn more about important infant and young child feeding practices. As part of the campaign, six television and radio spots on breastfeeding and complementary feeding issues were produced. Each one tells a different story about real people who influence feeding practices, such as mothers-in-law, fathers, and health care providers.

  1. Animal food
  2. Feeding quantity
  3. Poor appetite
  4. Early initiation of breastfeeding
  5. Insufficient milk perception
  6. Father’s involvement
